• Where does the data come from?
  Our calculations are based on the NASA JPL Ephemeris. Planetary positions, gate activations, and channel definitions are computed from first principles — no scraping, no third-party chart services.
• How is the accuracy verified?
  Every release is tested against a reference set of known charts with verified gate and channel activations. We compare our planetary degree calculations against the NASA JPL Ephemeris directly, ensuring that no rounding or conversion errors affect the final Human Design chart data.
• What do I get exactly?
  You get API access to accurate Human Design chart data per request. The Hobbyist plan returns basic data: energy types, profiles, gates, channels, and centers. Developer and higher plans return the full dataset: all basic data plus strategy & authority, incarnation cross, variables & cognition, all activations, definition, and signature & not-self theme. • What Human Design data fields does the API return?
  The Hobbyist plan returns energy types, profiles, gates, channels, and centers via the /v2/charts/simple endpoint. Developer and Scale plans unlock the full dataset — strategy & authority, incarnation cross, variables & cognition, all activations, definition, signature & not-self theme, and more — across three endpoints: /v2/charts, /v2/charts/simple, and /v2/charts/coordinates. • What format does the API use?
  The Human Design API is a RESTful API that returns JSON. You can call it from any programming language or platform that can make HTTP requests — including Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby, and no-code tools like n8n, Make, and Zapier. Authentication is via API key passed in the request header. See the quickstart guide in the documentation.
• How does the credit system work?
  Each API call costs one credit. Plans include a monthly credit allowance: 5,000 on Hobbyist, 10,000 on Developer, and 50,000 on Scale. If you exceed your allowance, additional credits are billed at your plan's rollover rate (€1.00 - €2.00 per 1,000 credits depending on plan). Credits reset monthly. The Lifetime plan includes 50,000 credits per month.
• Is there a free plan?
  There is no free tier. The entry-level Hobbyist plan starts at €22.50/month and includes 5,000 monthly credits and basic chart data — enough to build and test a full integration. All plans include a 7-day refund policy. Compare all plans.
• For who is this API?
  This API is for developers who want to build Human Design apps. Using this API requires you to have some coding skills, know how to use a no/low-code platform, or have access to someone who can do either of these.
• Does the API return the visual chart?
  No. Only the data is returned. The visual chart is not included. You can use the data to build your own visual chart.
• Can I upgrade my plan?
  Yes, you can upgrade at any time from your dashboard. Your new plan activates immediately and your API key keeps working without interruption. Credits reset to your new plan's monthly allowance on your next billing date.
• Can I get a refund?
  Yes! You can request a refund within 7 days of your purchase. Reach out by email. Please note that you will be charged 3.5% of the purchase value for the refund processing fee.
